Reiki is a gentle, powerful universal energy and healing art that promotes an increase in wellbeing. Through a series of attunements, our natural healing channel is reawakened, reopened, and further catalysed encouraging the acceleration of physical, mental and emotional healing and spiritual growth.

Reiki is a very simple hands-on bodywork method. The desire to learn and the attunements of Reiki are all that is needed to channel this healing energy. I welcome people to my courses who have a true desire to nurture personal, interpersonal and planetary healing.

Reiki can be safely and effectively incorporated into most other healing and therapeutic practices. Health professionals and lay people alike have used and practiced Reiki. It is a powerful tool for healing and balance. 

The power of Reiki or the "higher power of  life force energy" is certainly nothing new. People have been successfully using it to attain a higher level of healing consciousness for over 80 years.

And when it comes to natural healing, Reiki is up there with the best because all it involves is using the energy within you as well as the energy within the universe to create a higher awareness and empowerment to heal yourself.

Everything you need to know about Mikao Usui's simple healing system can be learned in three stages, the Reiki degrees. To become a Reiki I, II or III practitioner requires receiving the attunements and training from a teacher who has also received the attunements and training.

In First degree Reiki you learn to channel Reiki energy through your hands

In Practitioner Second Degree Reiki you learn mental/emotional balancing and distant/karmic healing practices

In Master/Teacher Third Degree Reiki you learn to initiate and fine-tune others so that they can teach and channel Reiki.

The weekend class in First Degree Reiki consists of four attunements that activate the Reiki energy in your body and allow you to begin using your hands for healing. Between attunements we prepare ourselves to receive whatever we need that we may open our hearts to the next phase in our development as healers. We practice the treatment form, work on eachother, process our experience with the energy and practice complementary exercises of meditation and helpful techniques. This is an opportunity to receive a sacred tool in a supportive environment.

Reiki II is the practitioner level and will enable you to have the skills and qualification to practice Reiki healing on members of the public, although it can be used for pure spiritual development. You receive two further attunements and will learn the knowledge and use of the three sacred practitioner level symbols that will dramatically increase and enhance your spiritual or healing practice. You will also have the opportunity to meet with your Reiki and/or Spiritual Guides. This course is open to all students who have attained Reiki I either with myself or another teacher.

Reiki III is the Master/Teacher degree, the most advanced and powerful Reiki degree and a very significant leap in spiritual awareness. Tuition covers subjects such as the Master symbols, Master crystal grid, psychic surgery and how to give attunements to others on all levels. Reiki Mastership qualifies students to teach and attune others or just enjoy the personal and spiritual growth that will emerge from this powerful experience.
